Val Di Fiemme – the world capital of winter sports

The ski resort of Val Di Fiemme, located in the Italian region of Trentino, is well-known among athletes for various types of winter sports – professionals and amateurs, as well as their fans. They have chosen this wide valley, surrounded by wooded mountain peaks, for a long time – some for training and finding out which of them is the strongest at the given time, others – to look at all this and support their beloved team.

Sports have always been held here quite regularly, but recently, their number has increased significantly. Organizers of international and prestigious competitions are increasingly choosing this hospitable resort. So in the past winter season, in addition to the World Cup, Val Di Fiemme hosted the World Ski Championships. And in this, the World Winter Universiade and the World Championship in skiing among juniors, which have become perhaps the most important sports events, were added to the annual sporting events.

Val Di Fiemme is ideal for becoming one of the world’s winter sports capitals. The Dolomites Valley has a suitable climate and terrain for running cross-country skiing trails in the valley and skiing and snowboarding trails on the slopes. In addition, there are ski jumps for “flying skiers” and an indoor palace for sports on the ice.

Add more modern stadiums and all the necessary facilities that meet high international standards, technical capabilities guaranteed to maintain the required snow level on the slopes and slopes, excellent infrastructure, the ability to simultaneously accommodate tens of thousands of guests in local hotels, transport accessibility and you will understand that the alternative for Val Di Fiemme will be very difficult to find.
