Olympia della Tofane – Olympic track in the Dolomites
Olimpia delle Tofane is one of the most famous and most beautiful downhill runs on which the World Cup competitions are held. For the first time the track was opened for athletes in 1956, during the Winter Olympic Games. Then men competed here – the legendary Austrian Tony Sailer won. Since 1969, the Tofan regularly hosts competitions of the White Circus – the Alpine Skiing World Cup. Until the beginning of the 90s, both male and female races were held in Cortina d’Ampezzo, however, since 1993 Olimpia delle Tofane has become an exclusively “female” track – athletes compete in downhill and super giant. Kronplatz: swim and steam
A 10-minute walk from the ski lifts in Riscone next to the Olympia 3 * and Majestic 4 * hotels is the wellness center CRON4 (Aquarium) – a favorite of locals and a healthy après ski popular with tourists.
This is a modern, but very comfortable sports and fitness complex, where you can enjoy spending not only the evening hours, but the whole day in bad weather or if you are tired of skiing. The two main groups of services of the complex are swimming pools and saunas. Continue reading

Kronplatz: Italian snow, Austrian customs
The Kronplatz resort, belonging to the Italian ski region Dolomiti Superski, can be characterized by three adjectives: cozy, family, modern. Kronplatz is a pleasant place to relax with children. First of all, because they think a lot about safety and convenience – for example, there are several times more cabins than chairlifts.
